Job Developer
PACE Workforce Development Center is seeking a motivated and mission-driven Job Developer to support members in achieving sustainable employment and career growth. This role blends employment marketing, case management, and community partnership development to guide participants from program entry through job placement and follow-up.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
· 5+ years of experience working with vulnerable or underserved populations
· Experience designing and facilitating work readiness or workforce development workshops
· Ability to engage participants and inspire personal and professional growth
· Strong relationship-building skills with employers, partners, and community stakeholders
· Knowledge of local community resources and services
· Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills

HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES -STABILIZATION CASE MANAGER
The Housing Opportunity Center is expanding its growing housing program to better respond to the needs in the Greater New Bedford and Bristol County area. We are seeking a motivated individual who can bring new skills to our team with the following qualifications and skills:
· BA/BS in Human Services preferred,
· Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills,
· Computer skills with the ability to perform daily tasks within Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel,
· Excellent documentation and file keeping skills,
· MA driver’s license and reliable transportation required,
· Ability to speak Haitian Creole preferred.
Prior experience in human services, housing, and homelessness services. Experience or knowledge of RAFT, HomeBASE programs, as well as experience with the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Department of Housing and Community Development and HUD. Must have demonstrated understanding of resources and systems available through governmental, non-profit and private sectors, and have a compassionate nature to help people progress from homelessness to self-sufficiency. Proven ability to maintain high productivity while functioning in a flexible environment requiring both independent work and close coordination with team members. Must have a sensitivity and responsiveness to people of diverse backgrounds.
The position will involve working directly with eligible families to assist them in becoming financially stable and secure in permanent housing while addressing any barriers to success. This position presents an opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team dedicated to serving people in need. The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of how to navigate public resources, and possess the empathy required to understand and relate to the people we serve.

EARLY HEAD START PROGRAM - FAMILY ADVOCATE
We're looking for candidates with a passion for working with children in an early learning environment with the following qualifications and skills:
· AA/BA in Human Services, Social Services, or related field;
· Bi-lingual: English/Spanish;
· Experience in Case Management;
· Experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds;
· Sensitivity to the needs of families with low-income and knowledge of community resources;

· Driver’s License/access to a vehicle for transportation between sites and to home/agency visits.

The Family Advocate is responsible for recruiting and enrolling eligible children for Early Head Start services. S/he provides supportive family services to an assigned caseload of infant and toddler children and families in accordance with Early Head Start performance standards. The EHS Family Advocate works in partnership with parents/family members to improve and support the quality of family life and plans and implements a variety of activities to facilitate parent communication and involvement in their children’s education and care. The Advocate facilitates relationships between the Early Head Start and Head Start Programs, children and families and professionals from community agencies and organizations.
Head Start provides family-centered pre-school programming for over 200 income-eligible families with children from age 3 to age 5, and high-quality early childhood education for 30 children from age 6 weeks-3 living in the Greater New Bedford area.

PACE Child Care Works is a full-service childcare resource and referral program dedicated to helping families find quality childcare. The ParentChild+ Program is an evidence-based early literacy, parenting and school readiness home visiting program. The program is designed to strengthen families and prepare children to succeed in school through building literacy and interactions between parents and their children.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications/skills and a passion for building learning-rich home environments with families, in addition to, supporting families as their child’s first and most important teacher:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must be able to read and write well enough to complete home session reports, progress evaluations, and read children’s books fluently with the families
- Computer skills required
- Bi-lingual preferred
- Must be able to pass a CORI and SORI background checks.
The ParentChild+ Early Learning Specialist will conduct outreach to families, possess the ability to work with parents/caregivers, conduct home visits to assigned families twice a week, complete all required paperwork in a timely manner, attend required trainings and participate in weekly team meetings, and have reliable transportation.

- Hold a CDA credential, Associates in Early Childhood Education/related field or be enrolled in a program leading to either;

- Able to be active eight (8) hours a day to support children with individual needs that may include disabilities. Physically able to safely supervise children six (6) weeks – five (5) years of age, including but not limited to lifting a child up to 50 lbs., pushing and/or pulling up to 75 lbs., climbing stairs, participating in field trips and neighborhood walks;
- Must be able to pass background checks (CORI, DCF, SORI, and Fingerprint-based National and State criminal history background check);
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

PACE, Inc. is seeking a qualified Cook to join our Head Start Program team!
Head Start and Early Head Start provide family-centered child development programming for over 300+ income-eligible families with children from birth to age 5 living in the Greater New Bedford area.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience preparing meals for over 300+ children daily
- Experience in quantity food purchasing
- Knowledge of proper sanitation and food safety practices
- School food service experience preferred
- SERV Safe Certification required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be physically able to climb stairs, stand, bend, walk continuously throughout the workday, lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Must meet state and federal mandates pertaining to credentials and professional development

This position is responsible for preparing nutritious meals: breakfast, lunch and snacks for preschool children and classroom staff for our Head Start and Early Head Start Program. The meals will be consistently prepared in accordance with federal and state guidelines using the best nutrition and food processing practices.
Compensation: $20.96 - $25.96 per hour, plus an additional $1.00 for a dual language speaker; 35 hours per week; 42 - 52 weeks per year
